Forgiving Others

Forgiveness is the entrance to receiving. When you forgive, the windows of heaven are opened and you are now free to receive every good thing that God has for you. You are not responsible for the process, you are responsible for the decision. Decide to forgive and God will takeover. His Holy Spirit will then work in you, to release you from captivity.

Say aloud:

Jesus, I now wish to share that forgiveness with others by the power of the Holy Spirit. I forgive every person in my life that has hurt me in any way, I release them from bondage, I make peace with them today by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Wait until you feel that you have forgiven.

Often, someone will come to mind who still needs to be forgiven. At this point, it is beneficial to stop and complete the process as follows:

Imagine that person standing in front of you; imagine Jesus wrapping his arms around that person.

Now say these words:

I love you with the love of the Lord. God loves you and I choose to forgive you, because the love of God is poured out in my heart through the Holy Spirit and His way is love.

I love you, God bless you.

Pause and reflect on this process of forgiveness to see if it has brought about a release. When you feel the release, this is an indication that you have forgiven.

If you do not forgive

those who

sin against

you, your

heavenly Father

will not

forgive you
